Best Sportsbook for Football!
Bet Victor doesn’t have the same level of humour as SOME but if you are about to bet, then BetVictor has what you want. When it comes to odds and markets (sort of the most important things, eh?) BetVictor is a bookmaker with a capital B they offer the best odds on average for Premier League football.
It’s not just the premier league that has great odds either, online odds comparison site oddschecker checked the leading 17 bookmakers and 71% of the time BetVictor had better odds than the median price. This included games from Premier League, Championship, FA Cup, Champions League and Europa League competitions.

The Football Specials are exceptional! We are reviewing online bookmakers for quite some time and honestly, BetVictor’s markets are outstanding. A lot of them can also be found on their live betting console. It may not be of the same high quality as the one at Ladbrokes but still allows you to place numerous types of bets as action is taking place.
In addition, at BetVictor, you can enjoy live video coverage for all horse races, no matter where they are staged. UK, Ireland, even South Africa, and UAE, you can enjoy the nags on your PC or mobile. The only requirement is a bet of a minimum of £1 to be placed at the event you want to watch, which is up there with some of the top UK betting sites.
BetVictor Mobile Betting App Reviewed
Navigation through the app probably the biggest drawback of the BetVictor mobile adaptation. Sadly, you won’t find the slickness and style of the bet365 betting app in there. But, the banners on the home screen aren’t very big or intrusive. The navigation bar on top is the best part, as it shows you the available markets menu.
The in-play console of BetVictor can also be found on the mobile app. It’s fully functional and covers all major and minor ongoing events. If you are into horse racing betting sites, you will be happy to see that you can watch any featured event on the app. All you have to do is place £1 or more on any race and the broadcasting will become available.
Banking and Transactions
Depositing with BetVictor is very simple. When you log in to your account, the ‘deposit’ button should replace what was previously the ‘login’ button. This is where you enter the cashier where you can deposit, withdraw and transfer funds.
Payment methods available are Debit cards – Visa, Maestro, Visa Debit and MasterCard. To withdraw with BetVictor you would again log into your account and visit the cashier section.

BetVictor, the Gentleman Bookmaker
Our story of BetVictor begins in 1933, Victor Chandler’s grandfather, William, opened up Walthamstow Greyhound stadium. The stadium was run by the Chandler family until it closed in 2008. It had a larger attendance and income from gambling than any other dog racing track in the UK and boasted a capacity for over 5,000 spectators.
In 1946, Victor Chandler Snr started the company as we know it now. In 1963, betting shops were made legal for the first time due to the gaming and lotteries act and Victor started building a large portfolio of real estate and taking bets in the southeast of England.
Victor Chandler Snr died suddenly in 1974 and the business passed over to his son, Victor Jr., who never wanted to be a bookmaker but found out at the age of 22 that he owned a chain of bookmakers and accountants.
In the early 1990’s Victor was accepting bets from wealthy far-eastern customers and realised that if he took his operations off-shore he would avoid the 9% UK tax which would allow him to give a better value service to his customers.

This was a first for the UK gambling industry and not long afterward most of the significant bookmakers copied his strategy. In 1996, Victor obtained a betting license from Gibraltar and in 1999 moved his entire business there, employing over 350 people made him the biggest employer in Gibraltar. Once this move was complete, Victor was able to offer sports betting without the 9% tax.
Victor Chandler was quick to recognise the huge potential that online sites and services gave and started up successful poker and casino sites. The company now serves over half a million customers and has a turnover of over £1 billion in over 160 countries.
Victor hates to refuse anyone a bet and this philosophy did cost him in the early deals – he once made a huge bet with a customer, and, unfortunately, the customer died before settling the bet and as Victor is known as the “Gentleman Bookmaker” the only thing they did to secure the bet was a handshake. Victor admitted that the bet was so large that the company struggled that year because of it.
Famous Channel 4 presenter and racing journalist, Alastair Down wrote of Victor, “he is the acceptable face of bookmaking. All right, he is there to part you from your money, but you get a straight deal, a civilised relationship and a sense of humour that reminds you that this game is meant to be fun.”
Why Did BetVictor Score 4/5?
BetVictor was quite a difficult one to grade in our view, there is nothing wrong with the site but then again there is nothing particularly great about the site either. We must give credit for the promotions that you won’t find anywhere else like ‘back of the net’ and we loved the free entry into Kempton Park but the whole experience just didn’t feel special to us.

Maybe we were missing the humour of some sites as the site felt flat and uninspired to us, navigation is easy throughout the site and it’s certainly easy to place bets, everything you would expect to find is present and the staff were very attentive but again just lacking the ‘wow’ factor.
BetVictor Best Odds for Premier League Visit Site!
The online FAQ’s section is poorly designed and although it works, BetVictor’s competition have done this a lot better. The site feels like it needs new wallpaper and a lick of paint.
We like BetVictor’s adverts which portray a sense of fun and humour, but, unfortunately, this feeling of engagement does not carry over to their website, which is functional but slightly boring in our view. For football bets we use, for other types of bets there are better alternatives such as Coral.
