Full Ladbrokes Review: Online Odds, Bonuses & Features
Last updated: by John Kettle
Traditions may not be what they were, but itās always nice to get back to those good old-fashioned values on which we used to rely. Such as betting with a decent bookmaker, for instance. Ladbrokes are an example of what the bookies should offer to the punter. Our Ladbrokes review explains why you should check out this classic operator.

As a new customer, you will be treated to a great welcome bonus right after you register, a gesture not many of the new sportsbooks do. Frankly, Ladbrokesā odds and markets are not necessarily exceptional (excluding Price Boosts), but there are extra features that make it outstanding, such as the Stats & Result Centre and the Sports News section.
How to Take Advantage of This Offer
Itās fair to say that in terms of bonuses, Ladbrokes opted to go for quantity rather than quality. We are not sure it is the perfect policy but then again we may just be greedy but it surely makes it a lot more difficult for customers to spot the welcome bonus. Here we present it to you and show you how to claim it.
You Can Easily Claim Your Free Bet by Following These Simple Steps:
Open a new account at Ladbrokes, and fund your account.
Make a qualifying bet of Ā£5 on odds of 1.5 or greater
Use your free bet within four days, before it expires.
The Free Bet token is awarded instantly after your initial bet there is no longer a need for a Ladbrokes bonus code. All you need to do is keep in mind the wagering terms which, in this case, are very simple. You have to place your first bet at odds of over 1.5, which we consider to be very reasonable. In addition, you have only four days to claim your bonus – so we recommend doing it quickly!
One of the best things about Ladbrokes sports betting is its excellent price boosts! Many online betting sites concentrate on just football betting, however, Ladbrokes caters to a much larger audience. That doesnāt mean that football fans are left out, though. If we look at recent European football games, Ladbrokes had an amazing 13 price boosts in effect for a Champions League night.
Besides the permanent bonus offers, at the Ladbrokesā promotions hub you will always find an ongoing deal. You may also get an additional free bet for a specific event and there are regular price boosts for the upcoming football games. This bookie has really upped its game in this area of late and there is always a great selection of promotions.
Bet Calculator, Stats, Results Centre and Much More!
Ladbrokes is regarded as one of the best, and this is justified through the markets and features it offers. There will always be doubters, but even they cannot question the bookmaker in this area. Take the range of markets it offers for instance. There are dozens of different sports, TV shows and various events that you can bet on.

The most popular of them, such as football and horse racing, offer you hundreds of additional options to place a bet, which means your choice is enormous. A better part of the markets in question are also accessible on the mobile app.
Something that you surely wonāt find at every betting site is a bet exchange platform. This innovation is present at Ladbrokes and takes betting on sports to another level. You can lay and back bets for thousands of constantly evolving markets, giving your wheeler-and-dealer side much greater freedom.
Only the Betfair betting exchange can compete with this. In-play betting, on the other hand, is a must-have feature for leading bookmakers. Being confident it actually is the best, Ladbrokes unsurprisingly offers it in combination with live streams for events.
A large portion of the markets are available for live betting, too. The live console also includes video coverage and in order to get access to it, your account simply has to be funded. Our overall impression of the features during our Ladbrokes review was good. On its website, you’ll find a number of useful tools that will help you figure out the right bet.
Ladbrokes Mobile Betting App Reviewed
As soon as you launch the App you will see the familiar bright red and white colours which are associated with Ladbrokes, the loading time is fine but certainly not the fastest. It’s very easy to find matches and races that are due on soon as they are very prominent on the main page. The app itself was snappy and quick to respond to touches, there was no noticeable lag when moving between the different markets. The default when starting is the ‘next races’ which unsurprisingly shows upcoming race meetings.
3 tabs at the top of the screen allow you to switch to ‘highlights’ and ‘in-play’. Highlights has had some thought put into it as not only does it show any featured games or races but also some great accumulators that have been preselected. The ‘daily bet bundles’ was my favourite part of this section with ‘daily big price trebles’ and ‘daily big price four-folds’ available with just a couple of taps. Pressing the menu icon at the top left brought up lot’s of options and different sports with very easy access to popular bets.
As a footy fan I really liked ‘My Accas’ which enabled me to pick and mix selections and gave me the chance to save and store selections, this was really easy to use and something I will be using in the future. It was very easy to combine different selections to make a unique acca, bonus points to Ladbrokes for coming up with this feature.
Can I Use Payment Options like Skrill at Ladbrokes?
Both deposit and withdrawal transactions run fast and smoothly at Ladbrokes. You can deposit via Google Pay, PayPal, and various other payment methods. Check the table below for the full list of deposit methods. Ladbrokes features flexible deposit limits so you won’t have to worry about breaking your bank. Itās up to you to decide how much you’d like to be able to put in or take out.
Just for the record: the maximum win for a single bet on horse racing and football is a million pound, Ā£500K for tennis and cricket, and Ā£250K on snooker. Letās say youāve won a sum that makes you happy and you would like to withdraw it. The only caveat is that you must use the same payment method for the withdrawal youāve used when deposited.

Ladbrokes Online Sportsbook Help & Support
The sign of a great company is how well they treat their customers, I am sure that like us you have experienced companies who are really friendly when they are selling you something but the attitude changes when you have a problem. This has not been our experience during this Ladbrokes review we are delighted to say.
Ladbrokes have a great Frequently Asked Question section (FAQ) which is very detailed and covers a large selection of topics and scenarios. Although in general we are a little too impatient with self-serving ourselves (itās a bit like reading a manual for a gadget we have just bought ā it rarely happens) it was very logical and easy to follow.
Topics include; Getting started, Exchange betting, account, payments, sports betting help and rules, mobile, retail, racecourse bets and security, and it offers help on other Ladbrokes services such as poker, vegas, casino and bingo just to name a few.
The level of detail and information contained in the sections is really good, we particularly liked the āBetting Terminologyā section which is a comprehensive list of all the common (and some uncommon) terms you hear in betting. This is great for new punters and may even come in useful for the more experienced players.

If self-service is not for you then you may like the live chat function. We used the live-chat facility for Ladbrokes a few times before and have not had any issues but at the time of writing this review the system was down and we received a āCustomer Support is currently unavailable, please try again shortlyā message.
We tried for well over an hour and a half until one of our team suggested we try logging in, we did so and received an answer straight away. Although this wasnāt a huge problem, if I was a potential customer and had a query before signing up then this would definitely make me consider another operator.
Email enquiries are easy to make using the online ācontact usā section and previous queries have been answered in a couple of hours, so whilst not as quick as the live chat system, we do sometimes prefer this medium if the queries are long and detailed.
You can also call Ladbrokes using a freephone number. What we really like about the telephone numbers are they are unique for the different sports. Because of this function, our call was answered within 2 minutes and dealt with promptly and politely. Ladbrokes also give the opportunity for you to use āsnail mailā and write into them.
Ladbrokes History ā a Trusted Name Since 1886
The name Ladbrokes and betting go hand in hand and you can trace the company’s roots back to 1886. The name Ladbrokes actually comes from Arthur Bendir who named the company after seeing a signpost for āLadbroke Hallā. Ladbrokes acquired its first shop in 1962.
Contrary to popular belief, bookmakers donāt always win and indeed in 1963 a run of results on the last day of the season caused Ladbrokes to lose more than Ā£1 million. That year Ladbrokes became the first bookmaker to accept bets on politics and this time it went to plan and the Conservative Party leadership contest earned the company a profit of Ā£1,400.
In 1967, the company issued shares for the first time on the London Stock Exchange. The initial offering of shares at 10 shillings per share was massively oversubscribed with more than Ā£60 million pounds worth of applications.

In 1986 the UK government relaxed restrictions on retail betting and for the first time bookmakers were allowed to show live coverage of sports events. Ladbrokes teamed up with rivals William Hill and Coral to introduce Satellite Information Services (SIS) which showed horse and greyhound racing directly into the betting shops.
In 1989 the Ladbrokes group had profits of more than Ā£300 million and this marked 20 years of unbroken profit growth. In 1994 the National Lottery was introduced and to restrict the impact to traditional bookmakers the laws surrounding retail establishments were again relaxed. For the first time, they were allowed to open on Sundays, display events and prices in the windows of their shops and advertise.
In late 2016 Ladbrokes merged with Coral to form the Ladbrokes Coral Group, an FTSE 100 company that was listed on the stock exchange. As part of the deal, it sold 320 betting shops to competitors in order to stop them from dominating the market. The company was acquired in 2018 by GVC Holdings, which has since been rebranded to Entain PLC.
Why Does Ladbrokes Deserve the 4/5 Grade?
Ladbrokes totally deserves its rating as it ranks pretty well on every key benchmark we analyse. Some may call them old-school, but that’s not always a bad thing. We especially like their football coupons, as itās not a very common thing to find well-organised football betting slips anymore. Ladbrokes, on the other hand, knows what the real punters want, and it delivers.
Another highlight is its welcome bonus. As we mentioned at the beginning of this Ladbrokes review, we were thrilled by its āStats & Results Centreā. Itās not just because of the data collected, but the way this data is presented is in the punterās favour.
Ladbroke’s Predictor is a software that checks the statistics and shows the percentage probabilities for the possible outcome of a certain event. This estimate is based solely on the game history two football teams have for example, but yet itās a very, very useful feature in our opinion.

However, this Ladbrokes review wouldn’t be objective if we didn’t list some of the sportsbook’s imperfections. Firstly, the welcome bonus is one of the simplest and best offers over the internet when it comes to sportsbook initial bonuses, but the number of regular promotions can always be improved. The second pitfall weāve detected is that chat support can be a little unreliable.
Ladbrokes Over a century of trusted bookmaking Visit Site!
Technical issues arise from time to time everywhere, but itās a bit annoying not to be able to contact support team the way you want to. However, we can’t be too harsh in the end. We like Ladbrokes, they are a very good bookmaker, but we feel it’s just a step away from being the best.
